Labor
Certification
For current Department of Labor (DOL) Regional Processing Times, please
refer to the DOL website.
Please remember that processing times accessible through this link are
for informational purposes only. Readers should not make contingent plans or
otherwise rely on this information without first consulting their immigration
attorney. Further down the page, this link also provides the various state
employment agencies' processing times. Instructions on how to interpret this
page are provided by the DOL, but please remember the cases are filed with the
state agencies and once pre-screened are only then forwarded to the
appropriate DOL Regional Office for final certification.
Beneficiaries are reminded not to contact
the state agency or Department of Labor in any fashion regarding the status of
"their" case as the government has the authority to cancel the case if
beneficiary influence is perceived. The labor certification is a test of the
U.S. job market by a specified employer and beneficiaries are not legally
considered a party to the process.
